Personal Trainer / Performance Coach

Lindsey Halbrook

Lindsey grew up in Tyler, Texas attending Robert E. Lee where she captained both soccer and cross country, and played volleyball. Lindsey went on to play for the historically successful women’s soccer program at the University of Texas at Tyler for four years. She also participated in Track and Field as a triple jumper, 400-meter runner and a shot-put thrower for two years. While finishing her bachelor’s degree in Health Science, she stepped on as an assistant for the women’s soccer team where she first discovered her passion for the development of athletes. Post graduation, Lindsey interned for APEC, and quickly earned the responsibility to work one-on-one with a Spherical adult client. This opportunity kick-started her coaching career, as she broadened her clientele to soccer athletes. After the summer of 2016, Lindsey left for a year-long stint in England, where she played for Middlesbrough Ladies in the Premier League. Coach Halbrook had opportunities to learn and grow not only as a player but as a coach. She was mentored by her coaches, who were some of the top qualified coaches in the country. In addition, she assisted local development teams as well as provided strength and conditioning sessions for various athletes. Now, back in the states, she has returned to her role as soccer skills coach and trainer both at UT Tyler and APEC.
