Athletic Profile:
The APEC internship program is designed to provide practical experience for beginners in the field of human performance enhancement. Moreover, advance interns skills as a professional in the field of human performance enhancement. The goal for our interns is for them to join a team in which they will be challenged, taught, and then given responsibilities in which they will add value to both our staff and clientele.
Internships
We are dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential and looking for interns with this same passion. APEC offers intern positions for the Spring, Winter, and Summer training sessions, with the summer training session being the busiest in our training year. APEC internships are not paid experiences.
At APEC our training is for sport performance. We buy into cutting edge science, not just hard work. We study all year to keep up with the current advantages for our athletes. We keep balance with our athletes training at their school or team to give them the extra they need.
It's not always what you do; it is how you do it.
What athletes need is something that can give them power and speed while also growing their body to its potential, injury free. At APEC we know that not everyone will be an elite athlete so we focus on developing confidence and work ethic that will translate to all aspects of life. We strive to create a habit of pursuing excellence with our athletes.
Cover letters should tell us about your background and the experiences you have had in the human performance setting. Letters should also discuss what your goals would be during an internship at APEC. Resumes should be no more than one page in length. If the desired documents are not professional in content and grammar, your application may be dismissed. Please address them to Director of Training and Internship Coordinator, Tony Bush.
If you would like to submit for Fort Worth, please contact Taylor Nelson-Cook.
